I was the child who drove her Mum mad chanting “Just one more story!” at bedtime.

My fascination with the lives of other people has been life-long and it’s propelled me into a rich and satisfying career in both book publishing and radio producing.
 
The people I’ve worked with hail from all over the world and all sorts of backgrounds. One of the most fascinating books I produced was Lindy Chamberlain’s autobiography Through My Eyes. One of my most moving interviews was with a man who watched his house burn down during the Kangaroo Island bushfires whilst hidden under a blanket on a burnt-out paddock. However, the thing I’ve learned in all my endeavours is that when people take time to reflect on their life, however ordinary they think it’s been, the extraordinary has a way of taking care of itself. Everyone has a tale worth telling.
 
In establishing The Story Keeper my mission is to capture stories in spoken or written form and support the teller to feel confident with the process and proud of the result.
 
I guess I haven’t changed much over the years …I’m still looking forward to one more story!
